The Challenge

MNR Constructions had built a strong reputation designing and constructing custom sets, furniture and event installations for production companies and commercial clients.

To support future growth, they launched Peacock Retail, a new offering designed to make their products and expertise accessible to a wider audience through the pop-up retail and events market.

The challenge was not simply building a website. Peacock Retail required a completely new digital experience that could support multiple customer journeys, complex product configurations, inventory management and highly customised fulfilment options.

The business needed a platform that could simplify a complicated operational model while creating a seamless experience for customers.

The Approach

We began by mapping the customer journey and understanding how users would interact with Peacock Retail's two distinct offerings: pre-configured bundles and fully customisable Mix & Match solutions.

Through strategy workshops, UX planning and technical discovery, we identified several critical challenges that needed to be solved:

  • Multiple shopping journeys with different purchasing behaviours
  • Complex pricing and bundling calculations
  • Real-time inventory management requirements
  • Flexible branding and customisation options
  • Multiple delivery and installation scenarios

  • Simplified order review and checkout experiences

Rather than forcing customers through a traditional e-commerce flow, we designed a custom digital experience tailored to the way Peacock Retail's customers actually think, browse and buy.

This included a fully customised Mix & Match experience, bespoke cart logic, inventory integrations and a streamlined review process that allowed users to confidently configure complex orders without confusion.

Alongside the technical solution, we aligned the brand story, content and SEO foundations to support long-term growth and improve discoverability.

The Outcome

Peacock Retail launched with a digital experience that simplified complexity without compromising flexibility.

Customers could easily configure and purchase highly customised retail solutions, while internal teams benefited from more efficient inventory management and operational workflows.
